They Killed My Brother and His Little Girl. I Refuse to Let Politicians Pardon the Killers
We have nothing left to lose!
Dear friends and readers,
Grief is a heavy burden, but realizing that the world might let the killers of your loved ones walk free is an entirely different kind of pain.
Since March 12, 2026—the day an airstrike tore through a civilian building and took the lives of my brother Mohammad and his little girl, Talin—I have lived with a singular purpose: to ensure their memories are honored not just with tears, but with accountability. They, alongside thousands of innocent Lebanese civilians, had their futures stolen in an instant.
Now, as the dust settles, a new heartbreak is unfolding in closed political rooms.
The recent political agreements being drafted to halt the violence include a devastating clause: a commitment to stop all legal actions in international courts against the perpetrators. In plain terms, they are attempting to trade the blood of our families for a political settlement, granting absolute immunity to those who committed war crimes.
As if this global betrayal were not enough, my family and I are facing aggressive intimidation back home. Corrupt local networks and complicit actors are leveraging fabricated lawsuits to silence us, hoping that we will quietly accept this injustice and let the truth be buried under the rubble with our martyrs.
But they miscalculated one crucial thing: We have nothing left to lose. We have reached the point of “Zero Fear.” Peace without justice is merely a pause before the next tragedy. Under International Humanitarian Law, war crimes do not expire, and bilateral treaties cannot strip individual victims of their right to seek justice.
Because the state is stepping back, we are stepping forward. We are forming a united front for the families of the victims, and we are moving our battle to European courts under the principle of Universal Jurisdiction—a mechanism that allows the prosecution of war criminals regardless of where the crime occurred or what political deals were struck.
I cannot fight this battle alone. I need your voice to pierce through the silence and the corruption.
I have launched a global petition directed at the United Nations and European Public Prosecutors, demanding they reject political immunity for war criminals and open their doors to our legal files.
If you believe that the lives of innocent civilians are worth more than political currency, please stand with us.

Thank you for your unwavering support, your empathy, and your courage to stand for what is right.
In memory of Mohammad, Talin, and all the innocent souls.
